August 16, 2022 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM EST
Webinar description
Due to recent changes in technology, finding engaging switch accessible activities is more difficult than it has been in years. But the need to find engaging activities is still there because students, who use switches, need several opportunities to practice in order to become successful switch users. Come to this session to find activities and switches that can be accessed by just one motor movement, new ways to use old favorites, and general tips for helping your students improve their switch activation skills.
Objectives: First Learning Objective: Discuss 3 AT devices that assist with access to technology for students who use switches. Second Learning Objective: Develop a collection of 5+ switch accessible websites to share with teachers and/or families for use at home or school. Third Learning Objective: Identify 3 websites that provide repetition with variety through single switch access appropriate for their students.
