ARK's Flat proSpoon™ was specially designed by feeding therapist Debbie Lowsky, MS, CCC-SLP, to address the unique needs of individuals with limited lip control or difficulty removing food from a spoon. Unlike the original proSpoon, the Flat proSpoon features a very thin spoon bowl, making it an ideal tool for introducing texture to puréed foods like yogurt, applesauce, and stage 1 baby foods. Available in two versions—smooth or textured—the textured variant offers ribbed lines inside the spoon bowl and gentle bumps on the back to provide tactile input to the upper lip, lower lip, and tongue. This makes the Flat proSpoon a versatile addition to any feeding therapy toolkit, enhancing sensory experiences and supporting effective feeding.
Features:
Two Versions Available: Choose between smooth or textured to tailor the sensory experience.
Thin Spoon Bowl: Perfect for individuals with limited lip control or difficulty removing food from a spoon.
Tactile Input: The textured version provides tactile stimulation to the upper lip, lower lip, and tongue.
Durable and Safe: Made from medical-grade, FDA-compliant materials that are dishwasher-safe and free from harmful chemicals.
