How Full Is Sophie's Backpack?

This book is very nicely illustrated, easy, and fun to read. While its main focus is to raise awareness about proper backpack usage, the authors manage to very subtly and elegantly touch upon a rapidly increasing issue in our current society, which is living and interacting with a child with autism. The fact that one of the main characters in the book is a child with autism makes this book unique and worth having in elementary school classrooms! Part of the proceeds of the book will be donated toward the Autism Awareness campaign in the United States.

The first author is an occupational therapist who has served as the President of The American Occupational Therapy Associated.
