Use Lip Bloks with straws to discourage individuals from biting the straw and/or thrusting the tongue. By promoting tongue retraction, Lip Bloks thereby assist in correcting tongue position. They can also be helpful with tensing for controlled lip and tongue movements. Try varying the liquid consistencies to supplement your other intervention strategies for increasing sensory awareness, symmetry, coordination, graded control for liquids, jaw stability, and lip, tongue, and cheek function.

The Lip Bloks fit into any regular straw and come in three different lengths- 3/4" (yellow, easiest), 1/2" (blue, medium), and 1/4" (teal, hardest).

Each Lip Blok is constructed of medical grade materials that are FDA compliant and contain no lead.

The 3 Size Kit comes with one of each size:3/4", 1/2", and 1/4".

The Combo Pack comes with 5 pieces: 3/4", 1/2", 1/4", Mustache, and Lips. Lips and Mustache are the same length/difficulty as the yellow 3/4" Lip Blok, but with extra fun and engaging designs.
