A powerful way to help the beginning writer to recognize letters of the alphabet and to learn to write them correctly - all to fun music! This is a highly multisensory approach and each letter is learned in a sequence: first, children listen and interact with the music saying the letter and pointing to a picture associated with the letter. Then they trace the letters with their finger and then with pencil. Each row of letters gradually fades until the child gets to a line with only a cue as to where to start the letter. As they learn their letters, children can take the included alphabet magnetic letters and put them on the included poster. One side of the poster has pictures from the book and the other side has the letters of the alphabet. This is a great tool in providing auditory association and visual recognition of letters and learning the correct way to write.
