Games, Games, Games: Unique Adaptations of Games for All Ages and All Abilities, Part 2 presented by Allyson Locke, MS, OTR/L
April 23, 2019
Webinar description
Part 1 of this seminar was presented as part of our Saturday Seminar Series on March 16, 2019. Allyson presents part 2 as a Webinar.
Incorporating games into therapeutic or educational sessions allows practitioners to address a variety of therapeutic goals, engage clients socially, and allow for the therapeutic process to be fun. During this seminar we will explore ways that games can be modified in order to meet a wider range of needs and abilities. Some games that will be covered include: Trunks (great for body awareness and sequencing), Catch the Match (great for visual attention and discrimination), Right Turn Left Turn (great for spatial visual skills), Monkey Memory (great for visual memory), and Body Awareness Fun Deck (great for targeting body scheme, spatial awareness, and visual perceptual skills), and more!
