This Kokolingo course really gets to the heart of the matter when preparing our lessons /lesson plans for therapists that work in the Pediatric setting. This short-course looks at learning styles and makes us all familiar with our on personal learning styles and points out the (5) different styles and gives tips and tricks on how to prepare our sessions taking into account all of these learning styles. This fun, engaging short course will show you how to figure out your own, personal learning style so that it meshes with the students you are instructing! This course has great foundational information and is a great refresher for the seasoned Occupational Therapist or COTA.
Course Objectives:
1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the key features and functionality of Kokolingo for articulation therapy.
2. Learn effective strategies for integrating Kokolingo in school settings.
3. Enhance knowledge and skills in utilizing technology to engage and motivate students during articulation therapy sessions.
4. Develop proficiency in customizing articulation therapy activities and exercises using Kokolingo to meet the needs of individual clients/students.
5. Acquire practical tips and techniques for monitoring student/client progress using the data and analytics provided by Kokolingo.
About the presenter
Amy Yacoub, MS, CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist and the Partner Network Manager for Kokolingo. She has over 12 years of experience working with children who have a variety of diagnoses and disorders, including speech and language delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Autism. She is also an experienced consultant within the field.
