Webinar: 2021-11-23: Improve Your Evaluations by Writing Occupational Profiles
Improve Your Evaluations by Writing Occupational Profiles Using the OT Practice Framework (OTPF-4) presented by Tee Stock OT, OTD, MSOT, MBA, OTR with Catherine Campbell
November 23, 2021 - 7:00PM - 8:30PM EDT
Webinar description
According to our OTPF, a guiding document of our profession, an OT evaluation consists of an occupational profile as well as an analysis of occupation. AOTA states that “the occupational therapy evaluation and reevaluation CPT® codes established in 2017 require the inclusion of an occupational profile” (AOTA 2021). Yet many practitioners are still not including an occupational profile in their evaluation reports. This workshop will explain why to include this defining aspect and practitioners will learn how to write one. Attendees should come with a case in mind to utilize as we go through the workshop so that they leave with a completed client occupational profile.
Course Objectives
1.) Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will understand why to include an occupational profile in every OT evaluation.
2.) Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to describe the different sections of an occupational profile.
3.) During this webinar, attendees will use an occupational profile template to complete an occupational profile for one of their own clients.
