Applying Polyvagal Theory in Classrooms and Clinics: Understanding the Role of the Nervous System in Behavior and Academics presented by Dr. Debra Em Wilson
October 5, 2021 - 7:00PM - 8:30PM EDT
Webinar description
From the work of Dr. Stephen Porges and Deb Dana, LCSW, this workshop provides the foundation for understanding Polyvagal Theory and ultimately enhancing the programs, strategies, and techniques you use on a daily basis. This webinar covers the three organizing principles of Polyvagal Theory along with practical suggestions for applying the principles in classrooms and clinics. Polyvagal Theory underpins social-emotional learning, trauma-informed practice, and regulation programs. It’s not another program to implement (thank goodness!) but rather a fresh perspective to bring to your practice or teaching.
