As Far as the Eyes Can See: Facilitating Ocular Motor Skills in Children presented by Jenny L. Clark, OTR/L
August 24, 2021 - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM EST
Webinar description
Over half of the human brain is devoted to processing visual information. One aspect of the visual system includes ocular motor skills. These skills play a vital role in a child’s functional vision. Ocular motor skills are comprised of eye teaming, tracking and saccades, which affects a child’s ability to successfully perform daily activities in all environments. This presentation will teach therapists how to identify ocular motor challenges in children. Therapists will glean insight into therapeutic activities as well as accommodations for functional visual skills that can be immediately implemented into practice.
