Overview: The importance of pre-vocational planning and opportunity is ever growing yet when and where to begin can be so overwhelming! This workshop is designed to help by introducing a 5 module program focused on job readiness, clerical, food service, grocery and retail tasks along with visual supports and data collection systems all designed to build a strong, consistent, pre-vocational foundation for all individuals.
Learning Objectives: Participants will:
Learn how to introduce pre-vocational awareness opportunities in the areas of clerical, food service, grocery and retail;
Learn how to track vocational activities as well as data and progress on a variety of hands-on tasks;
Learn how to modify and adapt a variety of tasks to meet the range of needs of all students.
