Engaging real-life onscreen videos teach social awareness and the unwritten rules of peer relations and acceptable behavior in the difficult middle to high school years. These familiar situations help students view and practice social social actions and responses in a safe and non-threatening environment. The social action can be identified and cognitive problem solving can be achieved through the interactive questions asked.
Volume1: emphasizes activities related to classroom, group work, and physical education along with unstructured times of hallway interaction, and lockers. Also targets the sensitive issues of the PE locker room and personal hygiene.
Volume 2: teaches social interpretation skills during unstructured times where social rules are most challenging. This CD uses scenarios such as getting lunch, waiting in line, eating, talking to friends, and "hanging out." Also addresses time management, organizational skills and the use of schedules at school.
Each of these programs includes 7 complexity levels and over 350 videos to target a broad range of abilities. All levels include the ability to earn energy points that result in a fun motivating computer game.
