When the pen is closed, its tip doubles as a stylus for cell phones, tablets and touch-sensitive computers. Building the stylus component directly into the writing tip of the pen makes it easy to move smoothly back and forth between electronics and paper while maintaining a constant hand position and orientation.
Inside the pen barrel is a spring-action, pull-out scroll of handwriting tips from Kate, based on her investigation of the performance habits of high-speed high-legibility handwriters.
