This kit was specifically designed for children with special needs, but children of all abilities love it! The 144 Wikki Stix were carefully chosen for their color appeal. The included Multi Sensory Resources Guide is a great resouce for teachers and parents of children in standard K through 8 curriculum, as well as those teaching children with autism and other developmental concerns. Subject content addresses literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and crafts, early learning, and more. There's even a section for occupational therapy!
The 6 Activity Cards are really nice - they are large and the designs (triangle, birthday cake to put Wikki "candles" on, etc) are easy to follow using the Wikki Stix. Two of these cards include pictures of faces where the child can express their mood using the Stix. A paper grid is also included for construction, building, etc. All of these items are neatly stored in a reuseable bag.
Great for sensory motor awareness, fine motor skills, learning letters/shapes by kinesthetically feeling them and much more!
