Using the Screening from the Fine Motor Olympics Manual, the occupational therapist identifies the hand skill that the student needs to improve and then selects appropriate activities from the Fine Motor Olympics Activities book. The student's progress is then documented using the Record Form in the Fine Motor Olympics Manual.
Occupational therapists also use the Fine Motor Olympics Manual to provide inclusive and consultative services by training the teachers, staff, and volunteers to provide fine motor support within the classroom.
Together the Fine Motor Olympics Activities and Manual offer occupational therapists a structured program for students with poor fine motor skills and handwriting problems.
