bullet A Popular Therapro Product gets Revised (and can now also be used as a game)!

The original Drive Thru Menus Attention and Strength Exercise Program was first published in 2004. Since then it has become a great seller and mainstay for teachers, parents, therapists and professionals. Why? It is convenient, simple, easily integrated into a daily routine and teachers have come to see its great effects with all students. And best of all? The students really enjoy the activities! This New Edition includes new packaging, new illustrations, revised content, larger card size, new poster/playmat, and game pieces and instructions for game play!

Drive Thru Menus: Attention & Strength Kit (New Edition)

Tere Bowen-Irish, the author, has a goal with her program: to allow students to "drive-thru", select an exercise that gets the body moving and put the mind back on the road for learning. The Program consists of two sets of ten exercises, a two-sided and a versatile deck of 25 cards- 10 Attention exercises, 10 Strength exercises and 5 Self-Regulation exercises. The exercises are typically used just before an academic task or can be used throughout the day as needed.

The Attention Exercise Menu allows you to "feed" the sensory system to help children to regroup, attend and focus on task. Each exercise aims to help children receive the sensory input they need to accomplish their daily tasks in the classroom. They may help children who have a hard time paying attention, settling down, waiting in line or staying focused during independent work.

The Strength Exercise Menu focuses on strength and muscular work. It may help students who have poor postural control, weak upper extremities, improper pencil grip, illegible handwriting, or compromised abilities using school tools, such as scissors.

The Two-Sided Poster serves as the "Drive Thru Menu" from which individuals select an exercise. One side displays the Attention exercises and opposite side displays the Strength exercises. The Exercise Cards have numbers that correspond with the poster/playmat. The cards provide the instructor a close-at-hand script and instructions.

And to make it as convenient for you as possible, everything you need is neatly organized in a clam shell package - all you need to provide are the dice! Try it! We think you will have fun ... and see results.
