As cursive is meant to flow smoothly, children must understand the "feeling": of fluid writing. Practice is performed through tracing a sequence of "waves" to help the child master this feeling. Introduction and practice of each of the cursive letters is provided. Eventually, children practice joining letters and writing words in cursive.
