Re-designed to look like regular clothing!
Our Weighted Vests have been stylishly re-designed...and we really love them! Designed by an occupational therapist who wanted high quality, a nice look that did not look therapeutic, and to feature additional functions; made of denim with gold topstitching to look like blue jeans. Some of the features include:
* Inside of the vest is lined with a light weight cotton fabric containing 5 pockets where weights can be added. Velcro at the inside top of each pocket prevents the weight from shifting around.
* Weights are not visible from the outside.
* Front of the vest has a large nylon zipper closure for fastening ease.
* Zipper has a large water resistant neoprene pull that can double as a "chewy"
* Front flap on the right lower side of the vest has a functioning oversize button for practicing buttoning or used as a fidget
* Front flap has on the underside a soft, plush velour fabric for tactile input/fidgeting.
* The stylish look actually looks attractive with the clothing normally worn to school.
* Very comfortable!
* No tags (one tear away tag) to limit sensory sensitivity increasing calmness and focus capabilities of child.
* Each vest includes 2, 1/2 pound weights. More weights can be added if desired.
* Consult with your therapist for the weight that is best for your child. All are a solid color and well made!
