A chance for children and adults at all developmental levels to participate in fun-filled, hands-on cooking activities while developing self-esteem and independence. These cookbooks were developed by an OT working with children and teenagers with cognitive and physical challenges. Only one direction is presented on a page to reduce confusion. Recipes are represented by large Boardmaker symbols from Mayer Johnson. Large, easy-to-read text with dividing lines for visual clarity. Self-standing for visual accessibility, group use, and for those in wheel chairs.
