Each deck is divided evenly with nine paired cards for each word position (initial, medial, and final). Additionally, a 54-card Bridge deck containing common connection words is also included. These connection words or "bridges" (verbs, prepositions, pronouns, and adjectives) can be used to formulate phrases and sentences with any articulation card decks.
