November 1, 2011: Why a Speech Catalog?

  When we went to our first ASHA Conference in 1997, many visitors to our booth were excited about our catalog and commented how they wished their occupational therapist was there. Since then we have exhibited at many ASHA Conferences and are looking forward to this month’s conference in San Diego. In the meantime, we have continued to add new products for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP). Now, we have decided to highlight what we offer to SLPs in a brand-new, separate 36-page catalog!

October 18, 2011: Solving the Mystery of the Land of Letters!

  Jo-Anne DeGiacomo-Petrie, has a different perspective on teaching children reading based on her many years of experience as a classroom teacher. Her program begins with a children’s story book in which Spot and Freckles travel on a rocket ship and explore the land of letters and solve The Mystery of the Land of Letters.

October 4, 2011: Assessing More!

  We published our first Therapro Assessments Catalog in 2010. We added more assessments since then and included them in a 2011 Supplement. Now our 2012 Assessments catalog is at the printer and will be in the mail in less than 2 weeks. It now includes an At a Glance feature, highlighting the assessment's Purpose, Age Range and Administration Time, for quick reference.

CEUs and You

  Therapists are always working to improve their skills. Certainly, they need CEUs to maintain their national certification. More important, new research provides evidence that informs new treatments, and therapists need to stay up to date. Continuing education seminars and workshops provide one way to do that.
