A great triangular pencil that makes it easy for students to know where to put their fingers for a correct tripod grip. Each of the three sides has a specific color, red, yellow and green that are designated for one of the three fingers: red is for the thumb, green for the middle finger and yellow for the index finger. Begin by putting one of the color fingernail stickers on a finger: red on thumb, green on middle finger and yellow on index finger. Read the enclosed Poem which indicates placement of fingers by matching color on fingernail to color on pencil and the student now has formed the proper grip on the pencil. Kids love these pencils!
