Differing from the other products in their line, KET Set 5 contains songs that focus on the sounds and actions of children's favorite animals including horses, monkeys and elephants. Among other benefits of the product, it encourages engagement with others thraough the use of music while also improving children's ability to cooperate with their peers. What are the Animal-Face Posters?
The animal-face posters can be used as they are (pictures of 12 animal faces) or with the holes cut along the dotted lines and used as "masks." These cut-out posters have been used extensively by the author with young children with speech and language delays and disorders. These "masks" are excellent for creating engagement, encouraging eye contact, taking turns, imitating animal sounds, and teaching perspective of what others are seeing (some children turn the masks backwards so they can see the face as opposed to showing others the animal's face).
Many songs from KET Set 5 can be sung using these animal-face posters, but the song "Weo Are You" is especially good with these posters. Children LOVE pretending to be animals and imitating the sounds that the animals make.
