A fun collection of songs that inspire children to sing along, and facilitate speech and language development. Songs are divided into six essential areas of speech and language:
- Articulation
- Social Language
- Receptive Language
- Vocabulary Development
- Voice
- Expressive Language.
For example, under "Social Language" there are songs about turn taking, happy vs. sad feelings, and maintaining eye contact while communicating. "Articulation" includes songs that encourage imitation of sounds and mouth movements. "Vocabulary" has songs about word categories. Educates parents on how to promote emerging speech, language and cognitive development in their child. Includes a CD and informative 36 page booklet with definition of terms, lyrics and activity suggestions.
